Insctructor and choreographer of Jazz Dance and its branches, responsible for the artistic direction and choreography of the Cia Independente de SP.

For 13 years, was a dancer and choreography assistant of Roseli Rodrigues by Raça Cia de Dança de SP and dance coordinator of the Instituto Gustavo Gomes de Guarulhos and Grupo Raça Centro de Artes.

Three times awarded the Guarulhos Award for his work with the cultural dance and awarded as Choreographer of the Joinville Dance Festival in 2011 and Best Choreographer in other major festivals.

Was a speaker at the III Encontro de Profissionais da Dança, performed by the Dance Institute of Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, under the theme "Choreographic Conception" and guest professor in the IV INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS of JAZZ, held in the town of Indaiatuba-SP.

Edson Santos is mediator of dance research, promoted and carried out by the Municipal Secretary of culture of Guarulhos and provides Jazz Dance workshops at important festivals and dance schools in the country and abroad, such as: Buenos Aires and Barcelona.
